I am Jamieson Edward, a teacher by profession who has a love for the growth and development of children. I believe that everyone should be nurtured and given the opportunity to excel in every way possible.
I have been actively involved in the performing arts in the areas of dance, theatre and pageantry. Currently, I am a member of the Silver Shadow Performing Arts Academy where I have gotten several opportunities for training and performance. I have performed at prestigious events locally and have represented St Lucia regionally in dance. I am a pageant enthusiast who has coached contestants who have either won or placed in the top three and have been involved in many theatre productions where my acting skills come into play.
I am also the first title holder for the inaugural Mr. Independence Pageant which took place in February 2019. I have represented St Lucia as an Adult Mentor for the World Learning Youth Ambassadors Program and also been featured in a documentary for dance respectively as part of the Cultural Development Foundation’s youth outreach program. I see the arts as a form of expression and development and I hope to continue nurturing talents across the island and continue assisting individuals to reach their true potential.
